Friends,
Prostatitis is a much broader
health problem than was once considered. It is one
of the most common urologic diagnoses.
American Cancer Society (ACS) estimates for 2004
include 230,110 new cases of prostate cancer in the
US.
Year 2004 estimates include 29,900 deaths occurring
from prostate cancer in the US alone, making it the
second leading cause of cancer death in men.
All men are at risk for prostate cancer. The risk
increases with age, and family history also increases
the risk.
In a newborn male the prostate is very small, about
the size of a grain of wheat. At the onset of puberty
it begins to grow dramatically until around the age of
twenty. Normally, it then remains fairly constant in
size for a number of years. However, due to hormonal
changes that take place after the age of 40, your
prostate begins to significantly bulk up. The gland
can grow to many times its normal size, and in
extreme cases it can grow as large as a grapefruit.
This is normally referred to as benign prostatic
hyperplasia, or BPH. As the prostate enlarges, it
narrows the diameter of the urethra and puts
pressure against the bladder, obstructing the flow of
urine, resulting in discomfort and troublesome
symptoms.
A man's health depends on a healthy prostate both
for proper urinary function as well as for sexual
health.
By age 70, more than 40% of men will have
enlargement of the prostate that can be felt during a
physical examination.
Research has suggested that about one-third of the
cancer deaths that occur in the U.S. each year are
due to nutrition and physical activity factors,
including obesity. For Americans who don't use
tobacco, eating right and staying physically active
are the most important ways to reduce your risk of
cancer.
The most common prostate problem is called benign
prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
More than half the men in the United States over age
50 have BPH. It is not cancer, nor does it cause
cancer, but its symptoms are similar to those of
prostate cancer.
Prosta Beta contains ingredients known to help
promote good prostate health. As an all-natural
dietary supplement, Prosta Beta is a safe and natural
way to help maintain good prostate health at an
earlier age. 1 out of 6 men will experience prostate
problems; therefore Prosta Beta should be an
essential part of your life.
The prostate gland is a vital part of the male
reproductive system that serves an important sexual
function. It is a walnut-sized gland that surrounds
the urethra (the tube that carries urine from the
bladder to the penis) and lies at the base of the
bladder. This gland secrets about 25% of the seminal
fluid that's combined with sperm during ejaculation.
The prostatic fluid acts as a lubricant to prevent
infection in the urethra and protects and energizes
sperm. The prostate is made up of approximately
30% muscular tissue, and the rest is glandular
tissue.
Prosta Beta may help if you suffer from:
